Head in the clouds

I’ve been so busy the past several months, it seems that the only time I can count on getting out to photograph is during my daily walks (when I have the time for those). As on a recent walk (the subject of a recent post), the most compelling subject I came across the last couple of days have been clouds. This time, instead of my iPhone, I had the opportunity to do some shooting with a brand new lens on my 5D — a Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM . It may be the widest lens that I have ever worked with (at least equal to an 8mm lens on a 16mm Eclair NPR motion picture camera). A good lens to depict a “big sky.”
